Two great bands whose styles might seem opposite at first become strikingly similar when put together. This was initially an idea to kill boredom, but I hope that it will do more than that for you. My girlfriend Sarah loves The Cure and, after listening to this, gained an appreciation for U2. After making it, I suddenly realised that someone may have already done this... So I browsed the net and found a poll on who was the better band. A fair amount of Cure fans disliked U2 (or just Bono). And though Robert Smith wasn't a particular target, a lot of U2 fans slated The Cure! Maybe this can be an avenue for someone who hasn't given the other side of the coin a chance yet.
